Morningstar Children and Family Services is seeking a
compassionate and motivated Master's-level Mental Health Therapist
to join our team in Brunswick, GA. This is a
part-time, billable role
providing therapeutic services to children and families who have experienced significant trauma and behavioral health challenges. As a valued member of our clinical team, you’ll play a key role in helping our youth heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide
individual, group, and family therapy
sessions Conduct
clinical assessments
and develop personalized treatment plans Deliver timely
crisis intervention
and support Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care Qualifications:
Master’s degree
in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Georgia licensure and/or certification
to practice counseling OR approved
DHR state‑exempt status Minimum of
3 years’ experience
in mental health and/or substance abuse counseling Strong understanding of
ethical practice and confidentiality standards Passion for serving
children and families
impacted by trauma and adversity Job Type: Part‑time Medical Specialty: Psychiatry Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Education: Master's (Preferred) Experience: Clinical counseling: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: LCMHC (Required) Ability to Relocate: Brunswick, GA 31525: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
