The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products. This role is integral to the logistics and supply chain team, ensuring smooth operations between the warehouse and other departments. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a team, manage inventory, manage weekly schedules, create performance goals, and uphold safety standards while supporting the overall objectives of Colorcon's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities & Duties

Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and adjust processes as necessary to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.

Lead the warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to meet performance goals and ensure staff are aligned with operational objectives.

Step in for the warehouse manager when needed for all related requirements.

Oversee the processes related to shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products, ensuring all work is completed.

Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and managing the team. Assign and direct daily work tasks based on operational needs, ensuring all work is completed efficiently.

Ensure accurate inventory control tracking through regular stock audits, systems updates, and proactive identification of any discrepancies. Implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Enforce and maintain warehouse safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize material flow, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall warehouse operations.

Support and actively participate in process improvement initiatives, focusing on optimizing workflows, controlling costs, and enhancing productivity across the warehouse operations.

Attend and represent the warehouse department during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics role required.

Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience required, with prior training and mentoring experience considered.

Forklift operation certification preferred.

Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite, SAP software, and Excel.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs on a continuous basis unassisted is required.

Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.

Working Location

This position is based on site at Colorcon’s Belen, NM manufacturing facility.
