Role Overview The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products. This role is integral to the logistics and supply chain team, overseeing a team, managing inventory, creating weekly schedules, setting performance goals, and upholding safety standards while supporting Colorcon's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities & Duties

Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

Lead the warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to meet performance goals.

Step in for warehouse managers when needed for all related requirements.

Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution processes, ensuring all work is completed.

Handle interviewing, hiring, training, and managing the team. Assign and direct daily work tasks based on operational needs.

Maintain accurate inventory control through regular stock audits and proactive discrepancy identification.

Enforce and maintain warehouse safety standards, conducting regular safety audits and initiating corrective actions.

Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize material flow and improve overall warehouse operations.

Support process improvement initiatives focusing on workflow optimization, cost control, and productivity enhancement.

Represent the warehouse department during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics role.

Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience (training and mentoring experience valued).

Forklift operation certification preferred.

Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS), Microsoft Office, SAP, and Excel.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs continuously without assistance.

Effective communication skills with fluency in English.
