Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an I&E (PCT) Construction Manager position for our client.
Location:
Baytown, TX
Duration:
4 months
Pay Rate:
$57.00–$62.00/hour
Responsibilities
Lead safe execution of turnaround activities during execution and close-out phases
Ensure all work meets EHS standards; coach contractors on safety expectations
Serve as front-line execution lead for I&E/PCT contractors and staff
Manage contract labor for efficiency, quality, and schedule adherence
Coordinate with operations, QA, planning, and logistics teams
Oversee field change logs affecting cost and schedule; obtain required approvals
Validate job packages, participate in staffing and execution planning
Monitor field progress, prevent rework, and ensure timely incident reporting
Resolve drawing discrepancies with engineering and sketching resources
Conduct field walks and provide accurate schedule updates each shift
Prepare daily execution and progress reports
Skills
Strong leadership and contractor management skills
Solid knowledge of I&E and PCT construction scope
Strong EHS and turnaround execution expertise
Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
Experience
Construction management experience supporting plant turnarounds
Hands-on experience with I&E/PCT work in industrial environments
Proven ability to coordinate contractors and cross-functional teams
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training or related degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
