The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides rehabilitative services to children with mental illness and their families. The QMHP works with racially and culturally diverse individuals and families to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. The QMHP participates in diagnostic evaluations and provides assessment of strengths, preferences, challenges and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s). The QMHP provides individual, family and/or group skills training using evidence-based interventions or therapeutic modalities. The QMHP may also provide crisis assessment and interventions as needed. The QMHP works on a team with other behavioral health professionals to coordinate client care. The QMHP can obtain clinical supervision toward licensure hours. The QMHP receives training, supervision and support to grow in assessment and intervention skills. Regular, predictable attendance is essential. May require a flexible work schedule. Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master’s degree preferred. License
Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience
Bilingual preferred. Hours
Full‑time. Monday – Friday. 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary: $24.18 – $25.39 per hour based on education. Benefits
