is hiring a Full‑Time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare.
Location:
1225 Graham Rd, Florissant, MO 63031 & 11133 Dunn Rd, St. Louis, MO 63136. Transferable to surrounding cities listed in the original posting.
Overview Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. The Ultrasound Department offers obstetrical, gynecological, abdominal, small parts, color‑flow and spectral Doppler examinations. Scope of practice includes general ultrasound, breast, thyroid, OB/GYN and small parts.
Position Details
Type:
Full‑time
Shift:
Day shift varying Mon‑Fri (7:00‑3:30, 7:30‑4:00, 8:30‑5:00). Saturday rotation 6:30‑3:00.
Call Hours:
Overnight (as needed), holidays.
Paid Saturday Rotation:
Yes.
Paid On‑Call:
Yes.
Scope of Practice:
Abdomen, small parts, thyroid, breast, OB/GYN.
Responsibilities
Ensure proper function and readiness of all ultrasound equipment.
Perform examinations and document procedures accurately.
Independently perform studies, including on‑call, portable exams, and other sites as required.
Qualifications
Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher).
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
Previous experience in general ultrasound with breast ultrasound preferred.
Experience in related fields (graduating sonography students, radiology students, diagnostic sonographers, ultrasound technologists, etc.) is acceptable.
