Location:
2600 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, KY 40503
Salary:
$35.40 – $44.96 per hour
Experience:
No experience required – open to new grads or experienced hygienists
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Note:
Mondays are mandatory.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
Take and process digital X‑rays using Nomad X‑ray and Dexis software.
Utilize Dentrix for charting and patient management (training provided).
Perform intraoral scans with iTero scanner to assist treatment planning.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and team.
Qualifications
Current Dental Hygienist license in Kentucky.
Experience with Dentrix, iTero, Nomad X‑ray, Dexis preferred; training available.
Excellent communication and patient‑focused attitude.
Detail‑oriented, team‑oriented, adaptable to dynamic environment.
CPR certification.
New graduates encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent or other digital scanners.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
Completion of TB testing prior to employment.
