About This Office Glen Burnie Dental Care is growing and looking for a friendly, passionate, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time! We are a collaborative, fast-paced, and compassionate office seeking someone who is goal-oriented, positive, and excited to find their long-term dental home.
Schedule
Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Arrival is 30 minutes prior to patient care hours for setup and morning huddle)
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care to patients
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health
Take digital x-rays using Dexis and Kodak imaging systems
Record and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
Collaborate with the dental team to provide seamless patient care
Be open to assisted hygiene as needed to support team goals
Maintain a clean and organized operatory, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland
New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and Kodak is preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset

Additional Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Clinical needs as required by office
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
