Overview
The Breakfast Attendant at Broadwell Hospitality Group in Oswego, NY is responsible for setting up breakfast items, making coffee, and ensuring all required items such as utensils, pastries, cereal, tea, and condiments are stocked and ready. The Attendant maintains food par levels for ordering purposes, cleans the breakfast area in preparation for the next day, and closes down the breakfast service area. The ideal candidate is skilled in serving etiquette, guest satisfaction, and able to provide flexible and efficient service.
Responsibilities
Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
Stay current on all emergency procedures and act accordingly
Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance
Attend department meetings
Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company, including but not limited to those contained in the Employee Handbook
Perform all other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
High school diploma or GED (on-the-job training and experience combination may substitute for education requirement)
Prior food service experience
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Capable of standing for long periods of time
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
Benefits
Compensation: $16.00 per hour, paid weekly
