Base Pay Range $25.00/hr – $29.00/hr

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ability to handle general maintenance responsibilities.

Use hand tools and power tools.

Perform all work in accordance with company policies, GMPs, safety standards, and SOPs.

Work with minimal supervision.

Climb ladders and perform rigorous tasks associated with a laborer position.

Perform equipment rigging, lifting, and moving.

Change fluorescent light bulbs and ballasts as required.

Handle building maintenance functions – basic electrical, roof repairs, floor repairs, building repairs/modifications, spackle & paint, carpentry, equipment repairs and modifications.

Operate all shop equipment once trained.

Understand basics of electrical/electronic theory.

Identify and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Display flexibility acquired through training; be utilized at any position as needed.

Work overtime as required.

Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Be available on off hours to respond to facility emergencies.

Investigate, repair, install, diagnose, and perform all necessary repairs to electrical/electronic controls and systems.

Execute corrective action when approved by supervisor.

Enter data into JD Edwards, Calibration Manager, Compliance Wire, and Documentum.

Prepare material lists for all assigned projects.

Complete work orders and submit to PM coordinator or Facilities Manager.

Provide guidance and interact with vendors to determine code‑compliant work scopes and quotations.

Provide level‑1 IT support to facilitate installation of hardware.

Provide network cable CAT5/Ethernet installations for offices, infrastructure, and plant equipment.

Maintain office IT hardware inventory and assist with EHS‑compliant disposal.

Provide ergonomic office installations and vendor assistance.

Requirements

Education: High school graduate or related field experience in building maintenance.

Experience: 2–5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, trade school certification.

Knowledge/Skills: Establish clear priorities quickly; work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities; strong communication and presentation skills; PC‑literate with word‑processing and spreadsheet software; read and understand construction blueprints; basic electrical knowledge; knowledge of cGMPs.
