What you will be doing as a Parts & Distribution Associate In this role, you can expect to manage the flow of aircraft parts by receiving, issuing, and ordering components for in‑house aircraft. You’ll also coordinate repair orders with outside facilities to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Receive, log, and issue aircraft parts and kits to support shop floor operations and mechanics’ needs.

Handle customer orders, prepare parts for shipment, and ensure accuracy using parts catalogs and warranty guidelines.

Assist with routine and special inventories, monitor back‑orders, and coordinate with Textron Aviation Parts Distribution (TAPD) for timely fulfillment.

Prepare shipments and manage purchase orders for packaging materials and other parts room supplies.

Oversee consignment and exchange programs, ensuring compliance and smooth execution.

Qualifications

A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification plus general knowledge of aircraft parts and blueprint reading is required.

Aircraft parts or relative experience is helpful.

Ability to read, understand, and analyze illustrated parts catalogs is helpful.

Capability to interpret overhaul manuals and aircraft engine manuals.

The ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable, is required.

Compliance with Textron Company Vehicle Policy/Policies and standards is required.
