Use of air grinders, electric grinders, sanders, and other hand tools to deburr cast weights
Operate a lathe and drill press, as well as horizontal and vertical mills
Use measuring equipment such as calipers, electronic and manual scales
Effectively read manufacturing documents like blueprints and routings
Keep an organized, clean and safe work area in a fast-paced environment
You’ll also need to be able to:
Continuously stand and frequently push, pull, and reach during shifts
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Occasionally operate a forklift or other lift equipment to retrieve and move items

Safety:

Surroundings:
You’ll be working in a manufacturing facility around moving machines like forklifts, overhead cranes and other machines.
Activity:
Some activities may require standing in one place for a long period of time.
Temperature:
The temperatures in manufacturing vary depending on the season.
Noise level:
It’s pretty noisy in manufacturing. We provide hearing protection for you.
Dress code:
Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, composite or steel-toe shoes are required. RLWS reimburses 50% for safety shoes once per year.
This position will work Monday – Friday with the core hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with overtime as needed.
