Qualifications
Ohio Electrical License
5+ years of documented industrial or commercial electrician experience
Valid driver's license
DOT certification (or ability to obtain)
Familiarity with high, medium and low voltage electrical systems
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
Proficient in NEC codes & guidelines
Reading/troubleshooting blueprints and/or schematics
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in all‑season weather conditions such as digging trenches to laying conduit or ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation to company site
Daily, often times weekly, out of town travel requirements Monday‑Friday, seldom on weekends
Possess good communication skills and have working knowledge of Office 365
Punctuality and ability to work the scheduled time and for the duration of the project.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor field technicians on projects
Install, troubleshoot and upgrade equipment and circuitry in industrial and/or commercial environments.
Maintain and repair buildings' electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches, fuses, light bulbs, ballasts, and/or fixtures.
Operate and work safely from bucket truck, scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, scaffolds, and roof tops, to maintain, repair, or upgrade electrical wiring, bulbs, ballasts and fixtures.
Layout and install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components
Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
Troubleshoot causes of electrical or system malfunctions.
