Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system‑led entity delivering high quality, low cost, innovative community‑based ambulatory care across primary, specialty, behavioral, urgent care, outpatient surgery, imaging, cardiac testing, infusion.
Practice Administrator – Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate operations across two primary care sites (331 Highland Ave, Salem, MA; 104 Endicott St, Danvers, MA).
Support clinicians and oversee primary care operations for adult patients.
Collaborate with leaders across specialties and MGB system to drive strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional patient care.
Shape care delivery and create welcoming environment for patients and supportive workplace for staff.
Manage approximately 77 clinical and non‑clinical team members across both sites.
Partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, Director of Operations, Primary Care and Medical Directors at both sites.
Operate Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with shared onsite presence between locations.
Assume Practice Manager responsibilities as needed.
Develop administrative policies and procedures to improve operating efficiency; review and update policies annually.
Manage, mentor, and develop practice coordinators, managers, and all non‑physician staff.
Design and direct implementation of strategic plans to support existing and new clinical programs.
Initiate, plan, and conduct internal/external meetings to meet departmental and institutional strategic objectives.
Facilitate physician orientation and support establishment of new physician practices.
Direct administrative responsibilities for physician staff (credentialing, compensation, provider enrollment).
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and direct quality improvement activities.
Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for all clinical operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Licenses and Credentials: Experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
Supervisory Experience: 5‑7 years required.
Healthcare Experience: 5‑7 years required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Microsoft Office (Excel), strong communication, organizational, leadership skills; ability to work with staff at all levels; excellent time management; familiarity with GAAP, physician billing and revenue cycle management; adaptability to changing priorities.
Additional Details Remote Type: Onsite. Work Location: 104 Endicott Street, Danvers, MA. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Employee Type: Regular. Pay Range: $78,894.40 – $114,795.20 Annual.
