Variable (United States of America) Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $66.00 - $72.56. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. What you will be doing
Per Diem Technologist to cover evenings and some weekends. Years of Experience Required
Greater than 1 year experience Years of Experience Preferred
2+ Bacteriology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology Physical Working Conditions
Standing or sitting in the same location; may require to stoop, climb or lift light material (20 lbs. or less) or equipment. Examples: programmers, receptionists, medical technologists, and dishwashers. Environmental Working Conditions
Indoor area with frequent exposure to mild dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Hazards OSHA
Category 1 - plus Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials. Subject to electrical and radiant energy HAZARDS. Exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens. Position & Unit Accountabilities
Microbiology Culture Set Up and Work up Cepheid Molecular Testing BioFire Molecular Testing MAldi-Tof Testing Microscan Testing Education Required
A Bachelor's degree. Degree in Medical Technology or a related science Bachelors Medical Technology Certifications/License Required
N. Y. State license-Clinical Laboratory Technologist Certifications/License Preferred
