as a Certified Surgical Technologist in our Regional Float Pool. Relocation assistance up to $8,000 may be available based on geographic location and eligibility.
Job Summary and Responsibilities The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN, assisting the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying instruments, equipment, and supplies, and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. The role also involves preparing and moving patients, sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment, and operating rooms.
Enterprise Resource Pool As part of the CommonSpirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool, you will float across multiple units, facilities, and geographic zones within the system, providing flexibility and growth opportunities.
Compensation $26.49 - $41.45 /hour.
Base rate + $3.00/hr pool differential . Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials. PRN differential +15% (not eligible for benefits).
Benefits
Full‑time / Part‑time: Benefits eligible based on FTE eligibility.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience.
Basic computer skills.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
Required Licensure / Certifications
Current registration with Colorado DORA as a surgical technologist.
Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association.
Physical Requirements Medium work load: exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, or 10 lbs constantly.
