A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to serve students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Fort Bliss, TX. This contract position supports students who have experienced gaps in speech services, requiring a dedicated professional to address backlogs and provide essential communication intervention. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic school environment with a caseload ranging from 40 to 64 students depending on the assigned campus. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across PreK-12 grade levels, with a primary focus on high school aged students. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students unique communication needs. Manage caseloads efficiently, including addressing a backlog of untreated speech services. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress. Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain detailed records of student performance and service delivery. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings preferred. Ability to manage large caseloads effectively. Strong organizational skills for handling IEPs and caseload backlog. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though monolingual SLPs are also welcome. Location and Schedule: Position located in Fort Bliss, TX. Full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
