Experience: 1 Year
Required Certifications & Skills:
Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Starting and maintaining IVs
Heparin Protocols, PCA, Isolation Precautions, MS/Tele
Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry
Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Post MI, Feeding tube care and management, Renal failure
Central line care/management, Blood Product Administration
PICC line management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Oxygen administration, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Manage Vasoactive drips – no titration, Non‑invasive airway management, Nasal Cannula
Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips
Certifications: BLS
Licensure: TX License or Compact License
Previous Charge Nurse Experience: None
