Our Team
Age Group/Range: Adults
Practice Setting/Type: Outpatient OTP
Schedule: Part Time 1099 - Monday to Thursday, 6am to 1pm onsite
Your Role As Physician The Physician is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients including prescribing, dispensing, and administration of medication for the treatment of substance use in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Responsible for medical management of patients at all levels of care provided by the clinic. Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment and counsel to patients. Provides medical oversight to the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinic Director.

Role Responsibilities
Responsible for providing medical care for prescribing, dispensing and administration of medication to patients at the clinic, and within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility or clinic policy or procedures;
Performs physical exams on patients admitted for medication maintenance to establish medical diagnosis for acute and chronic health problems;
Reviews medical information on patients to ensure medical stability, eligibility for program, and to offer medical recommendations;
Ensuring that all patients are aware of the hazards of the medication treatment program;
Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results and patient feedback;
Provides patient and staff education on medical maintenance;
Reviews and completes medical information for individual care plans, documenting services and information in a timely manner, maintaining appropriate confidential documentation, compliance, and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures;
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic policy and procedure;
Performs other duties as assigned;
Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time;
Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
Education & Experience Requirements
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited college or university
No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Licenses/Designations/Certifications
Current license to practice medicine by the state of Ohio
Board certification, or certificate of admissibility for board certification, is preferred
Current DEA credentials are required to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working
