JR5245**Transform lives every single day through rewarding and meaningful work!****Join Anglicare’s Payroll team and make a real impact!**As our Payroll Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments, compliance with legislation, and delivery of high-quality service to employees and stakeholders. You’ll provide leadership, guidance, and support to the payroll team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong internal controls. This is a full-time maximum term contract for 12 months.**Key Responsibilities*** Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.* Review and approve payroll runs, reconciliations, and adjustments.* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.* Supervise, coach, and develop payroll team members, allocating workload and monitoring performance.* Act as the first point of escalation for payroll enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.* Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes, including process documentation and feedback.**What You’ll Bring*** Minimum of 7 years’ experience in payroll, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation requirements.* Experience with payroll systems (preferably Chris21, UKG, and Workday).* Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop team members.At Anglicare, you’ll join a community of kind, humble, and respectful people of all faiths and backgrounds.
