The core responsibilities of this role include: Case picking by hand up to 50 pounds approximately 60% of the day, operating MHE equipment and reach truck approximately 40% of the day.

Position: High Lift Equipment Operator

Shift: 11:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday Additionally Saturdays may be required during overtime starting at 5:00am - Saturday will be 4 to 6 hour shifts, or until completion.

Pay: $20.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: a minimum of 6 months experience operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Forklift or Reach Truck

Role Purpose :

Responsible for operating the High Lift equipment in narrow isles for the purpose of moving, stocking, picking and counting merchandise in accordance with production standards. High lift equipment is equipped with electronic wire-guided systems at some locations.

Key Accountabilities :

Moving, stocking, staging, and storing products and materials using high lift reach equipment, narrow isle equipment, utilizing electronic wire-guided systems where installed.

Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas.

Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is correct.

Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.

Report quality variances.

Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.

Assist in physical inventories.

Ensure proper stock rotation.

Extend to higher levels than on normal forklift equipment.

Required Education and Experience :

High School Diploma or Equivalent

6 months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
