Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of children suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Utilize standardized assessment tools, including but not limited to CARS-2 and ADOS, to diagnose ASD. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive evaluation reports. Provide support and guidance to families throughout the evaluation process. Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations. Stay current with research and best practices related to ASD assessment and intervention. Qualifications

Licensed Child Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with current NYS licensure. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and families, preferably in an early intervention or clinical setting. Demonstrated experience with standardized diagnostic tools such as CARS-2 and/or ADOS. Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus. Can work in any or all 5 boroughs (Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn), including Westchester, Suffolk, Nassau, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Monroe, Chenango, Columbia, Delaware, Otsego, Steuben, Tompkins counties. Should be US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US.
