Join Our Dynamic OR Team as a Circulating RN! Job Description
Be an integral part of our fast‑paced Operating Room environment.
Circulate a diverse range of cases including:
General Surgery
Orthopedic
Vascular
Ophthalmic
Urology
ENT
Endoscopy
Robotic
Obstetrics
Gynecology
Assist with turnover cleaning and transport patients as needed.
Play a vital role in scheduling cases efficiently.
Equipment You Will Utilize
Meditech
PYXIS
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience circulating cases in a hospital setting.
Ability to scrub cases is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications Needed
Current BLS certification.
State of Hawaii RN license.
Shift and Schedule Details
Flexible shifts within operational hours of 0645 to 2315, Monday through Friday.
Commitment to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of 32 hours during certain holidays.
Participate in a 24/7 call rotation, averaging 1-2 calls per week plus up to 2 weekends a month.
Must be within a 30‑minute radius of the hospital for call back.
Orientation on day shift for up to 1 week based on manager’s discretion.
Unit Facts
6 OR suites, with one dedicated to C‑sections.
Daily operations include running 4 to 6 rooms simultaneously.
A small yet highly efficient and busy OR.
Dress Code
Scrubs are provided for your convenience.
