HR Physician/Provider Recruitment - Akron, OH
Summary
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for the identification/sourcing of Physician and Advanced Practice Provider talent and resident/fellow outreach. This individual will have the ability to manage full life cycle recruitment processes including working with physician teams, department chiefs, and executive level physicians. A successful candidate will effectively utilize sourcing techniques and venues, screen applicants, present opportunities to candidates, coordinate interview visits, present and negotiate terms of employment and facilitate the process of initial credentialing and privileging in coordination with appropriate departments.
Formal Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience & Training Required
Minimum of two (2) years' experience demonstrating a successful track record in Healthcare Talent Acquisition, with Provider Recruitment and/or Physician Services preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, etc.); internet research; database functionality; etc.
Strong customer-service focus; ability to effectively influence internal and external customers
Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed
Participates/collaborates in projects/programs related to accreditation, recruitment, credentialing, on-boarding and retention activities
Population Specific Competency
Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
Level of Physical Demands
Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
