Night Shift

Pay Range:
$42/hr – $48/hr (Competitive compensation based on experience).

Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid and thorough patient assessments using the Nursing Process to prioritize and deliver critical care.
Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care adaptable to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
Administer emergency interventions, medications, and therapies safely and efficiently in high‑stakes situations.
Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals using effective interdisciplinary communication.
Serve as a patient advocate, keeping patients and families informed and making their goals the focus of care.
Uphold the highest standards of clinical practice, compliance, and safety (TJC Patient Safety Goals, client safety absolutes).
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, data collection, and evidence‑based practice.
May serve as a preceptor or mentor, contributing to the development of the future nursing workforce.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Key skills:
Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department (ED) Experience, ACLS, BLS, Trauma Care (TNCC/ATCN)
Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure:
Current RN License in Georgia or a Multi‑State Compact License.
Certifications (All Required Upon Hire):
BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross); ACLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross); TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course); ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) or must obtain within a specified timeframe.
Experience:
Experience with direct patient care is preferred; prior Emergency Department experience is highly valued.
Skills:
Exceptional critical thinking, decisive problem‑solving, and the ability to remain composed in emergencies. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and time‑management skills. Proficiency with technology and EMR documentation.
