Job Summary: The Nurse Administrator provides administrative, clerical, and practical support for all nursing efforts within the Residential Treatment, Monarch Boarding Academy (MBA), and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) programs. Further, the Nurse Administrator acts as a liaison between clinical and programmatic leadership, ensuring effective collaboration between nursing and program staff, clinical expertise, and quality client care. This position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process, insofar as supporting and fostering strong and candid communication between leadership of all residential programs and the nursing team.

Engage in the collaboration and observation of daily operations of the nursing team and programmatic leadership

Use evidence-based practice and research to guide client care through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Partnering with program leadership, coordinate client admissions, discharges, transfers, and other operational issues through support of the nursing managers and nursing staff.

Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of clients while promoting a positive client experience and environment that supports family-centered care reflective of the population served.

Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.

Ensure that all regulatory standards are maintained within the Nursing function.

Treat, examine and render care to patients/clients in accordance with physician's orders as necessary.

Provide preventative and rehabilitative psychiatric nursing procedures.

Participate in Quality Improvement as indicated.

Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.

All required training, certifications and licensures must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.

Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Education: Associate's Degree from accredited nursing school required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license required.

Experience: Experience working with children and adolescents required.

3-5 years of management experience required. Previous strong interdisciplinary engagement experience preferred.
