Maintenance Mechanic
Shift:
2nd | 2pm to 10pm & 3rd | 10 pm to 6 am

PrideStaff is looking for hard-working individuals to work for a client in Griffin, GA. This company manufactures steel studs used for commercial construction.
Position Details
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Requirements
Seven (7) to ten (10) years experience of industrial equipment maintenance and/or controls design/construction/maintenance, pneumatic & hydraulics, power tools, hand tools, gas and diesel engines, forklift, heavy trucks, trailers.
Single-phase and 3-phase electrical proficiency.
Arc, TIG, MIG and Oxy-Acetylene welding experience.
Machine shop experience, turning simple shafts, cutting keyways, drilling and tapping holes.
Able to read drawings/blueprints, fabricate from and direct others according to drawings.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse (in the summer it will be HOT and in the winter it will be COLD)
MUST Pass a math test and a Tape Measure test
Pass a pre-employment Drug Screen and Federal Background Check
