Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals

Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care

Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians

Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries

Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment

Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration

Assist with radiography, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic procedures

Provide support and comfort to animals during examinations and treatments

Experience

Experience as a veterinary technician preferred, but willing to train the right individual.

Proficiency in aseptic technique and veterinary critical care.

Experience working in a laboratory setting, performing tests and analyzing results.

Strong skills in animal handling, including dog restraint and cat handling techniques.

Ability to work independently as well as with other team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week

Requirements License/Certification

Veterinary Technician License (Required)
