Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist

Key Responsibilities
Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy and professionalism
Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
Document procedures accurately, keeping patient records updated within the electronic medical system
Remain informed and adaptive to advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards
Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline
Preferred completion of a CAAHEP‑accredited Sonography program
Certifications Required
Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalently recognized certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
