Position Overview We are eager to find a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our forward-thinking imaging team. In this role, you will utilize the latest ultrasound technology to perform a range of diagnostic procedures, working alongside a supportive group of healthcare professionals aimed at providing the highest level of patient care.
Description of Responsibilities
Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of quality diagnostic images
Proficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical records system
Commit to staying updated on advances in ultrasound imaging techniques
Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
Skills Needed
Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
