SmartHouse Heating Cooling is seeking an experienced Apprentice HVAC Technician to join our field operations team. This is a full-time role for a hands‑on technician ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of residential HVAC experience and is committed to continued learning, professional growth, and client‑first service. You’ll work alongside licensed technicians and mentors, gaining valuable exposure with a proven path toward licensing opportunities while making a real impact on client homes and comfort. Responsibilities
Support licensed technicians in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and installing residential HVAC systems. Participate in service calls, equipment inspections, and preventative maintenance. Assist with residential HVAC systems installation including Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Furnaces, minisplits and boilers. Learn proper techniques for communicating with clients in a clear, kind, and professional manner. Maintain accurate service documentation and records. Ensure tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness are maintained. Participate in training sessions and hands‑on mentorship to grow technical and customer service skills. Follow all company safety protocols and standards. Qualifications
5+ years of residential HVAC service and installation experience with a licensed HVAC contractor. High school diploma or GED required. EPA certification required. Passion for learning and growing in the HVAC field. Professional appearance and communication skills. Honest, hardworking, and reliable work ethic. Team player who contributes to a respectful and cooperative work environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow mentorship. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
