Case Manager Supervisor – Newport News, VA Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Every Other Weekend)
Pyramid Healthcare at Newport News provides individualized, client-centered treatment for adults struggling with Substance Use Disorders. We are seeking a Case Manager Supervisor to oversee case management services, ensure continuity of care, and support clients as they transition through treatment. This role involves both leadership responsibilities and direct engagement with clients, families, and community resources.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure clients have access to a full continuum of care by assessing needs and coordinating appropriate services.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, aftercare agencies, and insurance companies.
Oversee and ensure accurate, timely documentation in client charts.
Gather necessary information and releases from clients, families, and referral sources.
Facilitate aftercare referrals to support ongoing recovery.
Maintain communication with clients, families, and treatment providers.
Accompany and transport clients as needed.
Orient new clients to the program and unit.
Teach principles and practices of self‑help groups.
Support the treatment team in developing life skills interventions.
Schedule family therapy appointments and coordinate treatment planning to ensure follow‑through on goals and objectives.
Provide vouchers for community resources when applicable.
Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling client and company information.
Complete all required trainings as mandated by the company and licensing/accreditation bodies.
Supervise case management staff and provide leadership in daily operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required (a non‑human services degree with equivalent direct care experience may also be considered).
Minimum of 2 years of direct care or related experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in substance use or mental health treatment preferred.
Compensation $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
