Job Summary Performs nutritional education and nutrition assessments on patients. Consults, educates patients/clients in one‑on‑one and group settings on risk factor reduction related to nutrition management. Communication occurs via phone, face‑to‑face, or video. Provides coaching to support behavior changes aimed at improving health status, reducing risk, and enhancing quality of life. Optimizes nutritional status through medical nutrition therapy for patients with nutrition risk, including assessment, individualized care plans, provider‐ordered recommendations, implementation of therapy, education, counseling for disease and nutrition risk management, and evaluation of outcomes. Schedules and follows up with patients as needed with documentation, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in managing health and nutrition factors.

What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Foods and Nutrition required. Graduate Degree preferred.
Experience: Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. Licensed Dietitian in state required.
Required Skills: Successful completion of generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to support patient education and self‑care management across cultural and age diversity.
Preferred Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to deliver information to diverse audiences, including one‑on‑one consultations, group presentations, and media engagement.
