Responsibilities
Monitoring and assessing laboring patients’ health status
Providing prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care
Educating patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care
Collaborating with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery
Skills Required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care standards
