Registered Nurse is responsible for patient triage and education, assisting physicians during office hours and follow‑up on prescriptions, procedures and tests. Maintain chart documentation to ensure all information about visit is completed and documented correctly.
Responsibilities
Adheres to the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
Follows the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan, Privacy Standards, and Corporate Compliance Program Code of Conduct.
Assesses patient needs by taking vital signs, history, and medication listings to provide physicians with condition assessments.
Performs diagnostic tests and prepares equipment to assist physicians with medical treatments and procedures.
Draws lab specimens and prepares them for transport, including completion of lab forms and computer entry.
Administers prescribed oral medications and gives intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
Assists with patient teaching, instructions, and the development of patient education materials.
Triages patients to identify emergencies and provides immediate support while notifying providers.
Compiles and analyzes medical, statistical, and operational data for outcomes measurement and program efficacy.
Reviews treatment forms to maximize reimbursement and ensures all data is accurately entered into the Electronic Health Record.

Education High school diploma/GED and completion of an accredited nursing program
Certification Current State RN nursing license. Current CPR certification.
Experience Must have a minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a physician office
