Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical – New Graduates Welcome
Job Description Memorial Hospital – Minnesota Health (MaineHealth) offers a new graduate RN position with a limited-time sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000 for nurses with 1–2 years of experience and $20,000 for those with more than 2 years.
The role provides high‑quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. You will collaborate, delegate, and communicate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients, adhering to best practices and evidence‑based protocols. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, delegate tasks, and communicate patient status and care plans to ensure high standards of care and patient safety.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current state RN license and BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days if not current. Additional certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other as per unit guidelines within one year of start date.
RN experience 0‑1 year.
Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for RNs assisting laboring patients.
Eligible candidates are hired into full or part‑time RN positions; bonus prorated for part‑time hires; per diem hires ineligible.
Current MaineHealth employees and former employees separated less than 6 months are ineligible.
