Overview
Horizon Health is a Critical Access Rural Health Facility located in Paris, IL. The Clinic Registration Supervisor is responsible for training clinic registration staff, maintaining equipment and following through on requests from the Patient Access Manager. The supervisor orders supplies, recommends changes to the manager, maintains time keeping for employees and ensures accurate timely approval. Responsibilities
Organize daily work load to maintain efficient flow of department activity. Prioritize workload and delegate tasks to staff. Maintain department schedule needs and cooperate with changing schedules. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with staff, peers, managers and patients. Communicate clear and concise information between departments and patient services team members. Ensure proper policies and procedures are followed in collecting and entering patient insurance information and pre-certifying admissions when required. Interpret and adhere to hospital policy and procedures. Support staff in areas within scope of training and capabilities. Coordinate training for staff with External Education Supervisor and Hospital Patient Services Supervisor. Track required competencies in this area. Qualifications
High School Graduate. Experience in data entry, word processing, office procedures desirable. Ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients and visitors. Ability to train with accuracy and precision. Leader in customer service and attitude. Team player/leader. Pay & Hours
Pay ranges from $19.76 per hour to $30.44 per hour (based on experience). Hours: Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm. Benefits
