Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Evening Supervisor to join their team in Somerville, NJ. The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the Screening Program Director and Assistant Director in the administration of a 24‑hour operation. The Supervisor serves as the outreach liaison for all community agencies, exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in assigning employee labor, supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate support personnel, consistently setting and evaluating priorities, and making recommendations regarding the ongoing performance evaluation of supervised staff and resulting actions (i.e., reward, discipline, discharge, etc.). The Supervisor also ensures that Emergency Screening is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree or enrolled in a Master's Degree program in social work, psychology or a related clinical field

Certified New Jersey Mental Health Screener or Mental Health experience required to immediately be eligible for Screening Certification requirements

Must possess the ability to work in stressful situations

Preferred:

Supervisory experience preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required

Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver’s License

BLS Certification from American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements

Evening Shift, 40 hours/week

Full‑Time Schedule

Essential Functions

Acts as liaison to community agencies, law enforcement and patients families to effect outreach within the geographic area of Somerset County

Participates in providing annual community‑based education to Monmouth and to agencies

Participates in behavioral health education projects

Provides direct patient care on‑site and off‑site during high volume

Responsible for supervision of mobile practicum for designated Screening Centers

Supervises the triage of incoming clients to maintain timely flow of patients from Emergency Department to PESS

Assigns cases to staff members as appropriate

Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for patients based upon the team assessment
