Term Substitute Teacher
Location: Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education
Dates: 100% effective February 2nd, 2026 - June 30th, 2026
Position: 0.50 Fte, Term
Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are in accordance with the Nova Scotia Teachers' Provincial Agreement.

Teachers are expected to:
Provide quality instruction within the framework established by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
Implement strategies, activities, and techniques for promoting student learning based on each student’s prior knowledge, skills, and learning needs
Demonstrate best practices in assessment to determine next steps
Attend and actively engage in meetings and ongoing professional development
Maintain and submit all records in online systems and other communication avenues
Provide 3 professional/supervisory, work‑related references, their email addresses and their phone numbers in your SuccessFactors application. References must be able to speak to an applicant’s teaching abilities.
