Our client, a plastic packaging manufacturer, is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Oxnard, CA. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and support continuous production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all types of production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision.
Make equipment modifications to improve safety and productivity.
Assist setup personnel and machine operators as needed.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document work in IQMS.
Communicate clearly with team members to meet production goals.
Train mechanics as needed and contribute to team development.
Work safely at all times, following lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
Requirements:
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and follow verbal/written instructions.
Certification to operate forklifts or other equipment.
Knowledge of basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and ability to read electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
Good layout and fabrication skills with knowledge of basic machine shop procedures.
Strong communication and basic training skills.
PLC and computer knowledge preferred.
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Range: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
