About the Role Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the FP&A Manager is a key member of the ANZ Finance team, responsible for driving financial planning, reporting and strategic insights across the ANZ Snacking business. This role takes ownership of forecasting, budgeting and analysis, delivering data-driven recommendations that influence business strategy to accelerate growth. It offers a unique opportunity to operate in a high-performing, proactive environment where your contributions have a visible impact.
Operating as a central function within Commercial Finance, the ANZ FP&A team is responsible for reporting, consolidating, and analysing the performance of the ANZ region. The team provides strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and prepares leadership-level performance presentations. It also leads the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring data accuracy and clarity on performance drivers.
Success in this role demands exceptional analytical capability, strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced FMCG environment. Acting as a trusted advisor, the FP&A Manager provides the actionable insights that enables the business to optimise profitability and deliver sustainable long-term growth.
What your days look like
Business partnering
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Finance to provide clarity, confidence and integrity in financial reporting
Shape the financial outlook by distilling complex data into clear, compelling insights that inform strategy and enable proactive decision‑making
Tracking and delivering insights into performance v targets;
Working with the senior leadership team, providing value add analytics to influence business decisions.
Drive the budgeting cycle, uplift forecasting capability, enhance financial reporting, and provide commercial insights that influence strategic and operational decision‑making;
Lead the annual budgeting and 5‑year strategic planning process with clear governance;
Develop and execute robust scenario planning and financial modeling to evaluate potential outcomes, enabling proactive strategies and informed decision‑making under uncertainty.
Process Improvement
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the planning cycle, reducing complexity and enhancing efficiency/effectiveness through automation and best practices;
Design and implement standardized forecasting and reporting processes to improve accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across the organization with clear ownership and accountabilities;
Embedding improved ways of working to support the overall IBP /Commercial planning cycle.
Leadership
Coach and mentor direct reports (2) to build capability and cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in continuous improvement and accountability;
Proactively identify and create learning opportunities that strengthen team expertise, engagement and future-readiness, ensuring adaptability in a dynamic business environment.

CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with demonstrated FP&A commercial finance experience
Proven experience in the FMCG sector, with an understanding of the industry dynamics and commercial drivers
Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities with the confidence to challenge and influence
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and persuasively
