This position plays a key role in delivering a positive dining experience by providing attentive service, accurate order handling, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Successful candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and able to perform well in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining service standards and professionalism. This role offers flexible scheduling, structured training, and the opportunity to grow within a professionally managed hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and provide a positive first impression
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Provide menu knowledge, make recommendations, and upsell when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Process guest checks and handle payments accurately
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned
Follow company policies, brand standards, and service procedures at all times
Schedule & Work Environment
Flexible scheduling based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Fast-paced restaurant and hospitality environment
Requires standing, walking, and carrying trays for extended periods
Compensation Competitive hourly pay plus tips, based on experience, availability, and property needs.
Qualifications
Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
Team-oriented attitude with a professional demeanor
Basic math and POS system skills
Alcohol service certification required or willingness to obtain, as applicable
