Process Engineer
Base Pay Range
$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Position Summary We’re seeking a
Process Engineer
to develop, improve, and support production processes throughout the launch, manufacture, and testing of precision-engineered products.
This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands‑on problem‑solving ability, a background in machining, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You’ll act as a primary liaison between engineering, operations, and program management - helping ensure process reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You may also provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within your value stream.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Program
CNC
machines, create tool paths, and simulate machining operations.
Collaborate with design engineering and program management to ensure manufacturability and process alignment.
Create and maintain manufacturing methods, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and labor standards in the ERP system.
Design, build, and validate tooling, fixtures, gages, and custom equipment.
Analyze manufacturing variances and implement corrective actions.
Lead workflow and cell design initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience).
5–10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
5+ years of CAD and
CAM
software experience ( Mastercam
preferred).
3D modeling experience using AutoCAD Inventor or similar required.
