Mechanical Engineer III

This is a 6‑month, on‑site role for a Mechanical Engineer III located in Hickory, NC. The position focuses on designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, components, and equipment. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include utilizing Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools for machine design, managing projects from initiation to completion, and supporting research and development initiatives to improve processes and products. The role involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions on time.

Location & Salary Hickory, NC • $83,750.00 – $115,156.00

Qualifications

Expertise in Mechanical Engineering with strong knowledge of machine design concepts

Proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools and techniques

Experience in managing technical projects, including scheduling and resource allocation

Ability to support Research and Development (R&D) efforts to innovate and optimize designs

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required

Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional certifications or experience in manufacturing or similar industries are a plus

Education
