Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Civil Project Engineer
with expertise in land development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and experience managing land development projects from conception to completion. This position offers a
casual work environment, flexible hours, and occasional remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities
Design and develop land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
Perform feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental assessments.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct hydraulic calculations and design stormwater management systems.
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance and success.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Offer creative and efficient solutions to engineering challenges.
Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
and related design software.
Experience in land development projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Minimum of
5 years
of land development engineering experience (preferred but not required).
