REPORTS TO: FACILITY MAINTENANCE MANAGER

STATUS: PART-TIME

POSITION SUMMARY: The Janitorial Team Member will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the facility's building and grounds. Position will be geared toward working in various areas throughout the facility, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience while adhering to our Guest First Policy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain courts, office, and equipment as required

Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed

Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility

Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc.

Clean all guest seating and lobby area

Facility trash & recycles removal

Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed

Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events

Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve

Assist other departments as necessary

Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management

Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager to support operational needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Can work well with a wide variety of age groups

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Must have excellent guest service skills

Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations

Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members

Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility

Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

Have sports experience or an interest to learn

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high

May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions

Facility has intermittent noise

Will be required to operate a computer

Must be able to walk intermittently

Must be able to successfully complete our Utility Vehicle training program
