Bus Driver - Temporary Continuous Recruitment
Perform bus driving responsibilities for the campus community. Days of work could include weekdays or weekends, depending on driver availability. Additional shifts may frequently be available based on campus transportation needs.

Major Responsibilities
Drive a full sized passenger bus over the road and on state facility grounds.
Keep written records of trips, mileage and stop‑overs.
Supervise loading and unloading of passengers and personal property.
Perform preventative vehicle maintenance such as the monitoring of gauges, checking tire pressures, and maintaining the appropriate fluid levels for radiators, batteries and crankcases.
Required Qualifications
The ability to operate vehicles safely and effectively and to be aware of both vehicle and traffic laws as they apply to the safe and legal operation of vehicles assigned.
The ability to perform routine maintenance and maintain a good working knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
Possession of a valid New York State CDL -Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement (without restrictions) is required by that date.
