THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (Terminal) (Title 5) (Permanent), Position Description Number
HTATC0011
and is part of the VA MTC, National Guard.
Duties As an Air Traffic Control Specialist (Terminal) (Title 5), GS-2152-11, you will perform the below duties:
Requirements
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
This position is not located at a bargaining unit.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Army Class IV Medical Certificate.

Applicants must possess a valid Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) Certificate and/or Control Tower Operator (CTO) Certificate.

Federal employees currently serving in the competitive service must acknowledge they will voluntarily leave the competitive service by accepting an offer of employment for this NG Title5 excepted service position.
