Job description
Overview Commercial Plumbing Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services.
Shift :
Monday – Fridays 8am-4 : 30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on job site)
Location Office location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job requires traveling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job).
Compensation Hourly Rate: $35-50 (DOE)
Requirements
You must be 18 years old.
You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
You must be able to pass a drug test.
You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
You must have your own tool kit.
A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
Unclog plumbing and repair issues to ensure proper water flow; may work on or with Hot Water Heaters.
Communicate effectively with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
Teach apprentices and supervise mechanical and plumbing work on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; monitor progress and adjust to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Coach crew members to maintain safety and efficiency; collaborate with project team to resolve issues or conflicts.
Implement quality control measures to ensure high workmanship; prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
Safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.
