Commercial Plumbing Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services
Hourly Rate:
$35-50 (DOE)
Location:
2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job requires travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job).
Requirements:
You
must
be 18 years old.
You
must
be eligible to work in the U.S.
You
must
be able to pass a drug test.
You
must
be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
For safety reasons, you
must
be able to speak English.
You
must
have your own tool kit.
A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Job Duties:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
Unclog stopped up sinks and fix pipes that don't allow water to flow freely, with possible work on or with hot water heaters.
Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
Responsible for teaching apprentices.
Manage and supervise mechanical and plumbing on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
Prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.
